I thought this would be a cool paintball project.

I thought this would be a cool paintball project. Perhaps as a breech loader. Lots of nice brass here.

The part I'm always trying to figure out is how to keep the hammer as is and functional. I want to put the valve where the cap nipple sits and have the hammer strike the valve stem. Making that arrangement in a practical fashion continues to escape me.

mech ion!

use the smav3 as the contact pad, when its cocked its off the button, when its fired, it slams down and pushes the 3way

its still ion, so its round body, to get it to not leak after you fire, put a dual tail oring bolt on

and finally.... to figure out how to attach the trigger to release the hammer... idk!

I was looking for an SMAV3 anyway. Has anyone seen one in stock lately? It looks like DW and y0da900 bought them out.

My vibe sprung a leak at the solenoid again and it's ready for the project pile. I already put the extra o-ring on the tail.

I'll make sure I need one first.

So, you make this action...I would probably still have to send it to WALZ (Wally) for stock fitting anyway. Idk, winter is coming. I may be able to hang out in the garage long enough to make something acceptable.

Never really noticed that winter is project time down here as well as up north, just for different reasons.

The pic does look like something WALZ would do (or maybe done already).

The ion/vibe route still has to deal with a reg. That stock would have room though.

This sort of pistol was where I started for my pirate pistol, but I obviously got derailed on the action,

Yar! The scruffy pirate pistol (beware of more pics!)

I thought about putting the hammer on the valve sear...

So, bond, commander bond, have you considered how many shots you are looking at for paint and gas?

^^^
there's a brain wondering around in there somewhere.
