Although chemical propellants are primarily exothermic, there are some endothermic processes that will produce large volumes of gas (ie sublimation). So it could also be labeled "cold wet balls in your face".. Just sayin'

if you use a fuel cell to burn the hydrogen to create electricity, you could use the electricity to split water, to power the fuel cell... see... Instant perpetual energy machine... right?

Just bringing this back up to see if anyone has made any plans? I'm really trying to figure something out that involves a chainsaw engine, its sort of coming together

My first paintball marker was made from a 60CC syringe plunger, a 2 ft pice of PCV pipe that the plunger fit in, a smaller 2 ft pice of PVC that was attached to the plunger and a 3" x 3/4" dia PVC barrel. You compressed the plunger down the tube till it built enough back pressure to squeeze the ball out the tight barrel. We had no concept of FPS and we were lucky no one got hurt. This was 1987-88.
