Bolt action my PGP?

I've searched several places for a how-to or advice on making my PGP a bolt action but haven't found what I need. I have a General Joe's center fire bolt in it now and would like to remove the pump handle and use a handle off the bolt. I'd rather not drill my bolt, so if that's necessary then I guess I'll forget it. I assume I can get a knob of some sort that will fit the hole in the bolt for the pump arm though I don't know if something like this already exists out there.

Any advice or info on parts needed to do this?

Center fire pgp bolt....

Oh boy yeah, thats a tough one. Do you still have the stock bolt just toss a screw into the bolt arm hole and tada!

I replaced mine with a Cooper-T awhile ago. If you want my spare stock bolt it's yours.

With a General Joe's bolt you will have to re-drill the airport hole in the bolt or it will not line up when you move the bolt to lock position. Also since the cocking lug floats in a General Joe, it might lead to problems with rotation of the bolt.

Crap. I guess I need to think about it since I like the bolt.

Axel: Thanks for the offer. Lemme think about what I'm going to do and I'll get back to you.

What airport hole are we talking about? Pgps are rim fired or so I thought and have seen.

General joes bolt has an air port and directs the air up to the center of the bolt.

Just looked that up never knew that existed. That would be a bad bolt to make bolt action, you would need to drill a new airport for when you lock the bolt forward.

Yeah my decision now is: bolt action a stock bolt or keep the GJ bolt.
