How much are you spending on this thing? You could modify a real 12ga to shoot the goblin rounds.
Not that I'm knocking what your doing here, I just like the easy way. I have been contemplating making a pump that uses goblin shells for a while.

I have honestly only spent $32 (with shipping) on the stock and bought the goblin for $50 shipped. All the metal will be scrounged from my scrap pile, so no additional costs should be required.

I havent even thought about using a real 12 gauge due to two things: 1) I dont own a 12 gauge and wouldnt want to wreck my dads $8k hand engrave Zoli and 2) I play paintball on the military base out here and dont think the MPs would be too excited to find that in my gear bag, lol.

The rim on a real 12 ga is smaller than the goblin shells. With a little modification to the chamber , extractor firing pin spring and firing pin on a breakover shotgun and it would work, there is a chance you would need to modify the bore of the barrel, especially if it had a aggressive choke. The firing pin mods would be easy, youd want to lighten the spring and increase pin diameter so you don't damage the goblin shell. If I ever run across a.cheap

New job is taking up a lot of free time, but was able to do some work today before heading to work.

I got the hammer rough shaped out of some aluminum I found on the workbench.

I also started shaping the stock. I used a disc sander to save a bit of shaping then went to work with my rasps and files.

I love goblin projects. Still can't get over the Goblin Deuce coach gun that was made for a raffle awhile back
