| Banned in 37 States  Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Peterborough, ON, Canada | okay that thing is absolutely awesome! you found the perfect way around my primary problem when considering a design of my own (how to make the sear and lever not interfere) sweet-***. the only thing that would improve that design is machined parts, but i can see that design operating for a very long time before needing maintenance too.

| Rec Poster Join Date: Sep 2007 | The lever, trigger, and sear are cut from Polypropylene plastic or Poly Cutting Board if you will.. Very strong and cheep. Piano wire linkage, I fly RC planes so I just borrowed. Although I would love to machine the parts, There is a lack of space and money at this time.. And its a long story  ... so until then I make due with what I have I will be sending the final prototype lever off to be make in aluminum |

I was thinking that you modified the body somehow but I'm seeing now that you just made a new one or somehow filled in all the slots in the regular one. And yes I know that music wire isn't baleing wire.... Been building, designing and flying my own RC, CL and FF models since the mid 60's. Great hobby and it's no real surprise that a model builder would come up with such a pragmatic way to make something so nice.
