No, trying to get it down into the 200-300 range if it will work. I am working on the actual spool right now. Trying to make it out of stainless right now, but it is a very slow process and it has to be perfectly polished.

Picture doesn't work. So here:

Looks different than the CAD drawings; I thought it was only supposed to narrow for a very short measure and then widen again?

Thanks. I tried loading it from my phone and it didn't work out so well.

I decided to go with this setup to save some weight. Its kind of a pain in the butt to make the gradual slope down to the smaller size too, so this actually save me some machine time. It is pretty well polished now, but there's still some small areas I need to work on, specially where the slope down is. Right now I am just tryin to figure out exactly which oring to use so I know how to properly cut the groove.

Doesn't it mean that the dump chamber is no longer sealed when the bolt is forward then? Or am I missing something?

Edit; never mind, I misunderstood it when I looked at it earlier.

Yeah, it still seals and everything. I actually tested it with shop air the other day.. it worked, but I've got some leaks in the body I have to take care of.

I have run into a wall again. I was able to design around the limitations of the tools I have at work to make this, but now I am still having problems because the parts I was able to make have proved that this will work, but I still need tighter tolerances to make sure everything seals properly. I can get around this with a little teflon tape, but I really need to have this thing made up buy an actual machine shop, or I need to spend a couple hundred dollars on milling bits and then learn how to make this with a mill and boring tools.

Someone on here should be able to do that work for you no problem

Yeah, but I'm trying to do it all myself. Plus if I buy the tools I can make multiple ones for pretty cheap since I will be getting paid while at work to do them, instead of paying someone else.

I will be able to get this one to work, I just have to do some tweaking of certain parts.

ah right forgot about you wanting to do it all yourself. Last post just sounded like you weren't wiling to spend the money on the parts. Would love it if you did because it'd give me an excuse to buy another 98 haha
