So, for anyone wondering, I was able to very easily just run the 9/16-24 tap into the banjo bolt and thread the body with the proper 2k+ bolts. Then I went ahead and did my own custom AXE feedneck mod and here is the result.

What was your method for doing the Axe feedneck mod? Thanks.

The feedneck mod is the same as this one. Pulled out the feedneck by drilling a hole straight through the top, then stick a rod through the hole, pull up and twist. After the feedneck is removed, mill off the tabs on the body, then turn the feedneck down in the lathe and push it back in.

The hardest part was waiting what seemed like forever for the tap to come in.
