Here's a frame mod page. The mag frame is actually eaisier. You only have to add sear hole. Hope this helps. Later, Blackrain

the rod is 14mm Probably to the and of the year I will done all testes on him. After that if some one will be intrested I can sell the blue prints. Doing that in Poland and sending to the US dosen't make any sense, the cost of thransport will double the price |

| Cheffer Join Date: Apr 2006 | The dye swing frame is even easier, since you don't have to drill any holes. Just tap the front mounting hole for the rail screw. The only problem at that point is making the sear work. I've made a couple custom sears that make the dye frame a drop in once the front hole is tapped.

Its easier to drill a sear hole than to grind on a sear, or fabricate your own sear. It also leaves you without a useless 4 way slot. And for a pivot frame you dont end up with a pivot point designed to work with a 4 way IE way lower than it needs to be. |

i just copied blackrains idea, wait no, i had the idea independently but then i found his gun and copied how he did it but the DYE and 43 degrees mag frames are PERFECT for a sterling all that needs to change is the trigger......but all the specs are the same just need to thread the front frame hole, or use airplane screw and drill the hole for the sear i wuv my frame |
