Thanks.
Never mind, I found a halo hopper for reference.

I was finally able to rough out some models. Here are some preliminary side by side comparisons of a standard rotor profile next to the lower capacity cap. I dont have any numbers on capacity yet but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys before I move past this rough design.

Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. I will post renderings later on.

and you said these would need halo style speedfeeds?

im curious to know the capacity, but overall i think it looks good. how much would it cost to have one printed?

I was thinking that the exalt speed feeds would be the easiest way to make an opening into the lid. Would more people like to use the standard rotor lid?

Very nice! I think a rotor style speed feed would be the lowest profile no? They sit inside the mouth instead of over a lip, would save a ton of height on the back.

It would lower the profile significantly. I will try to design a variation that will allow the standard rotor lid but I am concerned that lowering the cap profile and building the standard rotor lid features to the inside of the cap will cause paint feeding interference but I will look into it if people would prefer that as a feature.

id prefer to use a lid. most of the time im reloading with a pump it is between games. if i were playing tourneys a speedfeed would be nice. im not sure how hard it would be to make it compatible with the rotor color kits but that seems like it would solve both issues.

The rotor color kits would require the same top curvature as the standard rotor cap. This would raise the profile more.

I understand people obsession with Rotors, I haven't had as good of luck with them.

Something with Revy internals would be legit.

Not high jacking your thread, this looks promising and might have to give another Rotor a try.
