3d printed 100rd cap for Rotor?

Does anyone have the time and tools to draw this up?

It wouldn't be much for weight saving but it would be kindof a cool option to have for a slightly lower profile.

I don't have a computer or modeling software anymore otherwise I would do it myself.
I have access to a printer just need a drawing.

Would anybody else be interested in something like this?

I could help you out if you had a sketch or something with dimensions on it.

I have a printer, but no rotor, so I could help you but I would need dimensions.

The question is will it stand up to the standard Rotor drop test? Or being set on fire?

yeah,, common 3d printing is made by melting plastic, pretty sure as soon as you get fire near it, it will be happy to melt again

Actually one of the largest issues with extrusion based additive manufacturing is delamination. Well actually the first issue is getting it to print flat, but with a heated bed you should be fine. What I am expecting is for it to take 1 hit directly to the top and it splits in half. Hopefully the steep angle on the top with deflect the hit.

I can probably take a stab at it.
But, due to the shape of rotor, it will be kinda flat and ugly.

Anything special I need to know?
How thin walls can the machine make etc.
I have Inventor and Rhino, what kind of file you need, Iges is ok?

for 3d printing you will want at least probably 1/2 cm thick walls. And that may not be enough
