| GWC Lifetime Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Grand Junction, Colorado | Switch the air/pulse the air to the cyclone with a solenoid valve or are you physicly wanting to turn the cyclone with a solenoid? The later is physicly possibly for shure, but the power consumption will kill bateries in a heartbeat. |

| GWC Lifetime Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Grand Junction, Colorado | I dont know how much pressure is required or the volume. But what your also most likely going to need are a pulse valve and buffer chamber((s) to control the volume of the pulse), in addition to the solenoid valve and board. Im not shure if the the delay in operating the pulse valve will keep up with the cycle rate of any semi auto. It could be sped up with the addition of a QEV, but Im still not so shure it will keep up. If your going to be putting it on a blowback, you might as well just use the excess gas as tippmann does. If its some other marker you might be able to swap the Cyclones ram for a dual acting one and control it that way. You could possibly rig the cyclone up to a spring (as in the star feed on the tippmann F/A) and then control the thing with a solenoid directly. Without actualy sitting down and building somthing its hard to say if any of it will work. |
