Very nice! I'm in the process of doing a Trracer this way, but I might want to do a Phantom later.

I have to ask though, how did you attach the linkage arm to the bolt? They don't normally screw in to them and you said the Phantom was unharmed, so how do you keep it in place/from falling out?

Thats so funny...in the 2nd pic you are rocking the gun as you work the lever action...

even with a spring feed, old habits die hard

I do it with open class markers too and I usually have a few confused moments when switching from a rock forward to a rock back.

I'd also like to see some detail shots of how you hooked up the lever linkages to the bolt without modifying the bolt itself, if you're able.

It looks to me that he may have added a screw to the bolt that would allow the wire linkage.

I am definitely going to try to build one this summer.

I took a aluminum pipe about the size of the pump handle hole in the bolt and that was tapped to accept a screw. The screw connects to the linkage arm. I was going to make a custom collar with a allen set screw to replace it, but it seems to be working just fine. You could also install a guide pin to hold the linkage arm in place..

So you have an alum insert for the pump rod hole in the bolt? How does it stay in there without something holding it in?

I guess for my conversion this summer I'll have to think of some sort of guide to keep it all straight as you suggested.

I'm guessing you cant tap the bolt since I think it's heat treated steel?

I'd love one of these and would definitely pay for either a kit or to have the job done...

Beautiful, beautiful phantom

It brings tears to my eyes... I wish there were less semis in this world

Has there been any updates on this or has anyone done anything similiar yet? I've been beating my head against the floor trying to figure out how to do this for over a year now. Finally got to looking around about this type of project last night and found this thread.
