| Spyder EM1 help... i know its to late for the spyder contest anyways im making an LPR adapter for it 1st thing (think thats how i blew the noid) then i might make a new ram/hammer, bolt, and vert feed. i want to get away from having the spring pull the ram back... in the long run i may make a new grip for it getting rid of the tray that holds the 9v. any tips/ideas to help me get started? |

| Looks like you know most of the stuff to do with it. I have a EM1 that i have started upgrading but never finished, i cut of the grip and boltet on an Angel frame to it. As said above here, look into b2k parts they usually fits with small mods..

| You may also be able to make replacement parts out of the raven primal or EM2 as it should have been named. http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/3151/ the biggest difference I see between these and BKOs is the BKO bolt/ram are returned by a spring pushing them back but the EM1 has the spring pulling it back. also check out the em1 modify if you haven't http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/1061/

| Raven primal? I was unaware the raven primal was going to have anything interchangable with the EM1 I thought it used a direct solenoid thus eliminating the spring pulling the bolt back....making bolts non interchangeable.....and it being this way I figured the hammer and everything would be different weights and styles....correct me if I am wrong the best way to get it fixed is to send it to kingman they get it fixed quickly and get it back to you for the cost of the parts....there is one place online that has the parts for triple the price....they want 250 for the noid alone....when kingman finds out the problem and only charges you for what you need |

They changed the E from the EM1 to a 1 for the primal parts. looks like they switched from a b2k style valve in the em1 to a more spyderish valve in the primal.

| oh, also the noid may still be good if it has the overpressure blow off like most. Try turning the LPR down and if the leak stops it could be fine. A cheap option for making an LPR adaptor is to use factory drilled and tapped holes ment for guages. With the 04 BKOs there is a hose that runs from the LPR to the solenoid that makes it really easy to install aftermarket LPRs. this is a project of mine that is slowly comming along. Its an 04 BKO that is getting turned into a closed bolt semi/electropneumatic assist pump (only difference is what code I run through the basic stamp). I just disabled the factory LPR and ran a WGP LPR out of the old guage hole in the ASA thats what the vertical ANS LPR is running shes a monstrosity but it should be a fun thing to have around.
