| Old Navy? No, Old Army! Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Michigan | Wrenchless Tag8 Magazine Mod I won't carry an allen wrench that also fits my velocity adjuster out on the field, so my tag8 has been limited to the air I load in the mags before a game starts. This is a terrible waste so I modified my mag to use the 'wrench' from my zeus(I'm a 2 pistol guy). I took a 1 1/2" 3/8 allen head cap screw, jammed a bunch of nuts onto it to give me a good drilling surface(you can see the started one-I got off center so I rotated to the next hex face and tried again and got it). I took an 11/64 drill bit and drilled through the nut and the bolt together, grindered the head of the bolt down and made a cup in it to hold the 12gram securely and then took the hex nuts off and replaced the set screw type bolt in the magazine with the new one. I have one of the zeus wrenches on a retractable reel that fits on my glove, so now I can easily change co2 in my mags on the field. ![]() Rob

| GWC Lifetime Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Grand Junction, Colorado | Since I know I'll be asked ![]() Thats the prototype, the one in the run will be sligtly different. Anyway dont ask me anymore about them as One I dont want to hijack the thread anymore than I have, and Two this is not the right forum for sales. So Anyway. BACK OT I like your idea of using the Zues tool, especialy because there realy is not another option if the magizine was extended to 10 rounds or more, unless you wanted to carry around an allen wrench. I also like it becuase unlike the allen You shouldnt be able to overtorque the bolt with tha zues tool. |

| Old Navy? No, Old Army! Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Michigan | I like your wheel better Al Ray, but I would've had to get all new mag pouches(Mine are tight and zip closed) so I went this way. I only need this for the Big games like the Monster Game anyway, where I'm out on the field all morning. Good Times! Rob
