Line SI - Spyder Barrel Adapters

Quick Background: I'm a nearly original owner (used by a Skirmish the Store sponsored team in one tournament before I bought it from the store) of a Line SI Bushmaster Deluxe (1989), that was my main gun all the way til' 95, when I bought a Spyder Compact. The Bushy went into my closet (well cleaned and lubed) and remained there until recently. While I played with my Spyder (95-06), I got a good deal of barrels for it (Armson Pro, Armson Stealth, Empire Barrel Kit, Stiffi Switch, etc).

So, I am wondering if anyone has ever investigated the possibility of having a barrel adapter made to allow for using Spyder barrels (preferrably 1" O.D.) in Line SI Bushmasters. Line SI Advantage guns (maybe Promaster guns too?) could benefit from this as well. From what I can see, it looks to be technically possible (and would add 2.75" to the overall length). A component like this would allow for a huge number of new barrels and a bore sizing capability.

I'm also curious to know how many people would find something like this useful.

Thanks for the tip! However, I think I have maybe an even easier solution- Take Spyder barrels, cut the threaded portion off. Mill the remaining portion of the back end so that it is shaped like the Line SI barrels. However, this will only work with barrels that have a 1" O.D. Smaller barrels could work but, they may need some sort of sleeve (ideally delrin) that the pump could slide across. Now, to find someone who could do it. Maybe those folks you mentioned?
