But damn is it fast without any hammer lag. With a dwell of 4ms, you can almost set the autotrigger to a true breech closed firing position (maybe about 1/16th of an inch), without having to time for the hammer speed. Previously, it had to be at about a 3/16th of an inch off to have the hammer hit by the time the breech was fully closed, or I'd pick up the hammer on the way back before it opened the valve fully.

| Eye logic would do it on the board probably, mount a bouncebeam eye in MQ2 insert, when the back block is closed, eye would register as a closed breech, and then fire. Might have to play around with settings to get it to work right. Damon at scenariodreams was willing to talk to me about pump-centric programming. |

| Thanks for the writeup, only got around to reading it just now. A little concerned about the 4ms dwell limit on the board though. That's one of the biggest problems I have with eblade boards driving mQs in pumps (later model 4.1ms SON limit). How can that even be, if it powers open-bolt markers? As far as I know 4ms is too short for most open bolt markers. Are you sure that's the right number? It seems to conflict with what the manual says. Do you have any photos showing how the microswitch is mounted?

You are right, 4 ms would be too short for most sear trippers, but this board, as a universal board, doesn't really have many limitations programmed in. Both boards, and probably most of the programming are identical for tripping both noid outputs. I'm not sure what part of the manual you are pointing out, but the programming manual shows dwell going from 2 to 50ms, in one millisecond intervals. I would have liked .5ms increments, but 4ms is working fine for me. I will say this weekend at a scenario game in FL, I put about 2 cases through it, and I was a little suprised the MQ2 wasn't more efficient. Based on the sound signature, I was expecting a ridiculous shot count. I was probably getting around 175 shots per 1K out of a 45/45. But I also haven't played around with the settings yet. Although not sure how much playing around there is with 1ms increments. I don't have any more pictures of the switch, if I take the gun apart for any reason anytime soon, I'll take some pics. Can't see very much different than what you can see in the posted picture. The switch just "lays" on top of the trigger, and then you use something to hold it in place (tape, set screws, whatever), and the switch lever acts as the trigger return spring. There is also room to fit a spring in front of the switch, using the upper body as the brace. You could adjust the spring tension that way. It just fits right in there upside down, with the lever open to the rear, with no worries. I'll send you a pM if I get new pics Last edited by jt526; 04-01-2008 at 10:49 AM.

Got mine on the way, currently slated to go in a Dye single swing but still kicking around alternative ideas.

| You may need a trigger return spring somewhere in the dye to prevent trigger bounce. With the short throw and lightweight of the delrin CCM trigger, bounce isn't much of an issue. I can imagine with a steel or aluminum trigger bouncing around in the frame, you might have some issues. |

| Okay, will be advised of that, thanks. I really don't mind the E2 that much, esp. with the samurai, but why have a double when you can have a single?
