The frame is a composite slider, I figured with a solid brass marker I'd shave weight wherever I could. As for the rail... I really don't know, but everytime I've seen a rock forward sheridan it's had one. Plus it made lining things up parallel really easy (anyone have a more scientific/real reason?) Yeah, like I said I've never done brass work before, but I solder copper pipes at work all the time. I also took 2 years of TIG and I guess it all just came together once I got a torch in hand.

That makes sense... You get an extra ball above the chamber for those two quick shots. Instead of just one, rock, cock, two, it's just one pump two.

Haha, I was nervous enough doing this to something I own, I wouldn't even think about touching someone else's marker (yet...) As for the next project, I just finished (I hope) modifying a pgp hammer to fit a bluestreak trigger group. The rest of the marker is completely up in the air. Just out of curiosity, what type of 3way is in a hurricane?

Hurricane's use a Humphrey 4PPX for the 3-way.... and a Humphrey 8-D-1 for the ram....
