crazy idea, but should be doable?

what if one were to make a truly convertible pump/semo/electro marker? not just by swapping pneus or anything but by the push of buttons in the board?? basically the pump mode would be in manual mode, the eye wont trip, the board recognizes the trigger movement and releases the striker/hammer, but you change the mode to say, semi auto, the board would activate eyes, and does it fully autonomous of the pump handle, effectively youre adding a ram system that can be deactivated for use with the pump handle?

Probally can do it with a Electronic SHO of some sort..

Have a button on the board that deactivates the pump and activates the trigger to trip a different solonoid to run the same ram...

Its already makeing my head hurt but DAMN would it be cool.

I think a cocker would probably be easiest...

you could make a pneu-pump? one that still uses the pneumatics.. but the pump handle pushes the 3-way I believe. and then in semi and full I guess the pumpkit would move as well.. but not very far. this wouldn't take a whole lot of programming.. but I guess I have no idea how to do it anyway.. I've heard race frames are fairly adaptable.. maybe with one of those? or whats the crappy frame that just trips the sear.. and doesn't have an electric 3-way? perhaps that would be easiest..

ugg..

So a select case program in action? Would there be a lock out so that you couldn't switch modes durring a game?

it could be as simple as turning on and off a ram.
case 1: semi
eyes check
trigger input 1
>action
pump output 1

case 2: pump
eyes check
trigger input 1
>action
pump output 0

Yes it can be done, but odds are you're gonna have to make a new board. I do some work with automation systems, a small bit programming and electronics. Once I'm back from the Czech Republic I can work on a simple program in basic if you'd like.

The board is not an issue. As there a few guys that would program a board to your liking out there. Thats the easy part of it. It's dropping the air in ram thats an issue. As it would be hard to pump with air still being forced to the ram.

possibly mill an e-mag and custom mount a pump kit to the front that way you can switch it from electro to mechanical take out the bolt and add the wave spring and there you have it now a pump mag.. would take a bit of fabrication but i think it could be done and then in pump mode if you switch it back to electro and put it on full auto wonder if it would act as a sort of auto trigger for the pump mag (probably would burn up the noid) doubt it but its just an idea. LOL

Actually after thinking about it a bit. It could be done. Would just need custom parts made. and no need for a new board.

What you would need
A cocker
duel shaft ram
Custom pump handle
custom shaft made for the pump handle
an on/off valve to shut air off to the 3 way
And a trilogy electro frame.
I have a frame here. i may just have to build one of these when i get a chance.
If i could figure out how not to use the battery in both modes that would even be better.(think i got that figured out too)
