12 Volt Revvy into Ricochet AK Rhino?

Hey all,

My bro has a 12 volt VL Revvy and he recently got a Ricochet AK Rhino. He likes the shape of the rhino shells, but he likes the motorized part of the Revvy. Is there any chance that the Revvy motor, sensors and all that stuff can go into the Rhino body? If so, what's involved in doing that?

I don't have the hoppers myself, but I'm asking for my brother.

I may be wrong on this, but I have heard that the Ricochet shells are of really poor quality and break frequently. Keep that in mind before you mod. I am sure someone with better information will answer it more fully.

I have a revy and an apache and I was holding both hoppers and the motors, paddles and boards might be able to be switched. I am not willing to take the hoppers apart to find out. The differences that I can see that this wouldn't work is revy uses eyes above the feedneck and the apache uses a tab in the feedneck. I had a problem last year when my revy stopped working and there was a problem with the eyes. I wouldn't want to try and cut the plastic in a richocet since the plastic can crack pretty easily. I tried to cut the feedneck down and I had to buy new shells. I am starting to ramble now hope this has helped some, only way to find out is take them apart.

As long as you take good care and be patient about it, the Ricochet shells aren't that bad.

No granted, it's not top quality, but the thing can take a beating
