| MCB Member | To avoid starting a post with a sidetrack I have to comment on the main star in this thread, the red SL68-II. I would probably be too conservative myself to dare to go with red, but when seeing the pictures I have to say that red with black details look very good. It's usually the simplest modifications that turn out to make the biggest changes to the feel of a marker. Keep up the good work man! ![]() Quote:
The SL68-II body isn't made out of cast aluminum, is it? So I asume that you cut off the SL68 feed neck and threaded the hole. Then put some homemade aluminum stock class feed in there, and it was that one that got its threads ripped and not the SL68 body, am I right? | I just did a basic mod job on this one with sandpaper, a hacksaw and some JBWeld. Here is a nicer one that Ken did. Stock Class SL-68 II New SL-68 SC Stock Class SL-68 II
