.50 cal brass??

I'm sure it's been posted somewhere.....

Any ideas where I can get some .50 cal brass for a 3357 barrel?
Mine just doesn't want to shoot straight enough with a stock barrel...

Not exactly .50 cal, but I've found the Flying Colors .50 paint to be a little big anyway. Part number 8859K34 on McMaster-Carr

Try ACE....Heck, copper tubing might even work just fine. Copper is usually a little over .50 inside, and .625 outside.

Catchya on the Flip Side.....

Emerald Wolf -- it wouldn't get squashed in the barrel housing as long as it fit.

PS -- Otherwise, try Online metals. They usually have random length (~10 inches) that is pretty reasonable. They ship pretty quick too.

yeah I think .50 call is 11mm which is a standard pipe size, otherwise I will ask an even older hand than me who made up 20 or 30 under/over .50 call pump rifles where he got the brass from.

Thumbs up Thanks!

Thanks guys! Looks like Macmaster Carr will work, just gonna mic my paintballs first to see which size to get.

BTW- 11mm is 0.433, 13mm would be .512 (divide by 25.4).

Did that once,Ace carries real thin "K&S" brass tubes in 12" lengths, but not all stores have it.They are usually in a small display rack with rod and flat brass. Hobby shops sometimes have it.

17/32"O.D. size is 1/2" I.D.

FYI - I finally got off my lazy *** and bought a digital caliper. Apparently my bashing of Flying Colors (at least for size) was unwarranted, I measured a few samples and they were coming in about 0.495. There were none over 1/2 inch. So if you go with a straight 0.50" ID on your stock, you should be able to shoot that paint with relative ease, at least when it comes to fitting it inside the barrel.
