| Thrillin' Heroics Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Whitehorse, Yukon/Windsor, Ontario | A Question to cRAP4 Shotgun Owners After looking at Russc's guide to turn it into a decent gun and playing a whole bunch of COD4, I'm now kicking around the idea of picking one of these up. However, I want to make it into a more tactical version-namely, fitting it with a folding combat stock. However, since the original one carries the CO2 in the stock, I'd need to re-route that. So, my question is: How many shots would that thing get off a 12-gram (It's Nelson-based, so I assume it'd be able to empty a full mag off a 12-gram), and is there enough space in either the gripframe or the receivers to hide a dropout charger? I was thinking mounting a dropout in the gripframe, plugging the existing ASA and running a line up into it from the grip (Either hardline on the outside, or, space allowing, macro through the body) |

Also, the mounting point for the grip is based on the AR mount, but is almost double the width. Any grip you pick up must be modified unless you modify the gun. I didn't take the chance on shaving down the cast aluminum, I assume that it's thick for a reason, and so I just hollowed out a Lonestar a bit. It's certainly possible with some work and I've thrown the same idea around. As for 12 grams, it's a nelson and as such is decently efficient. I've had a shot count of around 30 before devolumizing the valve.
