Q: Side mounting an LPR to a PGP

I want to side mount an LPR to a PGP, for a semi conversion.
I'm using a cartridge valve, its a 2k PGP.
I am un-decided on the best way to do this.
I have a few ideas but, I figure I should get some experienced advice first.
so far I'm going to keep it run off a 12g, in the lower tube like normal.

Thanks, BER

been their tryed that. side lpr'ing a cartridge valve pgp. is not worth the time of doing. i have a paper weight valve to prove it. best is to use a non cartridge valve pgp for that setup. and a suggestion before starting a pgp semi send it out to palmer to have him palmerize the internals. you'll have less issues getting it running that way.

on another note
non cartridge valve pgp's flow alot better then cartridge valves.

running any semi pgp on 12 grams take tons of work.
the first thing you need to remove is the stock 12 gram peircer and go to a instant peircer. when the valve is open the pin blocks enough of the air passage to stop flow to the lpr.

just a few thing you need to think about.

no. you would get a non pericing cup seal from palmers( for a rear asa pmi)
or just cut the one off the stock one.
issue is mounting the new piercer in a cartridge valve.
non cartridge valve you would just make a new nose to mount in that replace the old 12 gram seal housing nose.

idealy thinking a cartridge valve pgp would be the way to go. only cause it has a quick changer plug all ready.

but that problem can be solved easy on older ones by just getting the quick changer kit from palmer. or if your realy creative make one like a pt extreme )lever lock)
