The problem of a detent is that is would not be set right. It would look off.

Who says it has to be a standard cocker detent? The spyder style covered nubbins, or the AKA style covered wire detent would fix it right up. A matching one would also need to be done on the left. Gives you a chance to get really fancy aswell. Vanity covers (???), or 3D plastic molded covers. Or if you have the money/time 3D machined covers.

I myself would dig some checkered covers.

I think I might actually make a scope/flashlight tac mount.. basically a rail that bolts on using the eye holes, and somehow is held on by the barrel also.. It'd be sweet.

I've used a bandaid on one in the past. Another idea that had crossed my mind was for an aim body that stockman had. I guessed it had some other type of eyes installed because it had about 3 holes on each side but I wanted to stick Mr. potato head limbs on it.

In my current project "the pimple" (pump impulse -> p. impulse -> pimple) I am keeping the plastic eye cover and changing the jewl on it.

for a more permanant fix for post e-bladed bodies I must say some brass or black annoed aluminum in the shape of an eye patch would probably go over well. If somebody decides to use this idea and didn't come up with it on their own first, please be kind enough to discount one for me.

that is really clever
If I ever sell a cocker body drilled for eyes, I'm slapping a bandaid on it..

Band-aid

I traded him out of a mini orracle body that he band-aided the eye holes on. left it on for months and they never did grow back.
