fill in holes with putty, use wet cotton swab to remove excess, and bust out the "Bling it on"

a quad detent setup would cover all the holes would be one of the more difficult conclusions and pretty unneeded with a closed bolt but why the **** not

Weld it shut. Thread in a detent in the right spot. The little spot remaining if anything will be barely noticable. Re anodize and it will be like it was never there.

except, I'm pretty sure the heat would either distort the tube, or it wouldn't weld because of the annodized surface, or It would annodize a different color because of heat dispersion.

The idea for making the eyes into another detent would not work.

They would keep the balls from feeding.

I REALLY like the japanese sword decorations. I might just put that to use...

EDIT: Also, heat dispersion doesn't affect annodizing. But reannoing a part and annoing a virgin part (the weld spot) will come out slightly different. This all depends on who's doing the annodizing and who is doing the prep work.
