| is to drill and tap two holes for the asa in the back part of the rail. I have drill bit and I have the right size taps is there anything else I need? Basically my plan in so take the rail and clamp it to my workbench. Drill the holes with a 16 volt drill and then hand thread the holes with the tap applying copious amounts of WD-40 to keep from messing up the rail and breaking the tap.

| you'll be better off using a drill press. that way the hole is straight and you can use a tap guide to start the tap straight so it doesn't break. make sure your using the right size bit for the tap. when tapping, make a full turn, then back it out a half turn to break the chip then go another turn and repeat. |

| Lord humungus the Mod | Yup. Find yourself a press. Chances are you will drill the holes at an angle a bugger up your threads. Everything else is spot on. -Jake
