Tib9 Folding Stock

While perusing the net I ran across the B&T MP9 and thought to myself, ya know , that looks a bit like my Tib9.

A mounting bracket can be easily made for the rear as well as a hollow forgrip. It seems the catch I'm having is figuring out what to do about keeping the stock locked in position. Any suggestions?
Prototyping will start as soon as my ShapeLock comes in.

try and look at the JCS stuff and see how they did it, or look at Tacamo or HK types of folding stocks, they all use some sort of locking systems.. simplest would be a spring retained push tab thats retained by the female part, with 2 sunken holes for the tab to lock into.

Shapelock came in today, did some practice pieces with it. Neat stuff, kinda like modeling clay on crack.I'll try to get some pictures up later today or tomorrow.

Yea I've seen their MP7 shroud and to be honest I just don't like the look of it. There's also the CAR stock that came with the Tib9, but I'd like a folding stock that integrates with, or is, a forgrip.

Alright, so far I've gotten a simple slide on/off forgrip. It still needs to be cleaned up quite a bit but so far so good. It's kinda like working with taffy. Still needs to be cleaned up quite a bit.

more to come as I progress.

forgrip is just about done and I've got a pretty good idea on what do to for the hinge in back. I got a bit hung up when my off brand dremil died.

the spare bit of picatinny that came with the package was used to mount the forgrip.
