My friend saw a video of someone with a homemade pump attached to the 3-way creating a short-stroke pump-cocker. He asked if I could do something like that with a spare cocker he had.

I pulled the brass 3-way pin out of the 3-way and dropped a spring down into the 3-way, flipped the pin around and put it in from the outside. gassed up the gun and when you push on the 3-way pin it cocks the gun and when you let go the spring resets the pin un-cocking the gun.

could have left it like that, a push-button to cock pump, but he wanted to be able to use his finger to pump it from its position on the main reg.


So I drilled and tapped the front block with four screws on each side for guides.
I bent a piece of sheet metal into the shape of the front block and slotted grooves for the 8 screws. mounted a bracket inside that sat up against the pin. used an old 98 trigger guard for the finger pull. and a Teflon cable tie as a guide hooked over the top of the ram.
need to dress it up a bit but it works great, you can hold the pump or youse the finger pull its short and crisp. but the timing takes some getting use to.
I guess an auto trigger is next on the list.

Cost = $0 all stuff lying around.

Cool, pneumatic assist for free. If you have an at kit you could make this into a bull pup semi. Just hold down the trigger with something, make a stock and use the "pump" as a trigger.

I am still upset about all of the unnecessary stickers that I found affixed to my ghetto pump after leaving it in your shop for three months !!! j/k
