Pirnaha Project V2

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm doing a half backing project for something to do/ I need an electro paint fligger. I did a "prototype" on another Pirnaha I have and it seemed to work so I chopped up the second one that Aaronclain sent me.

Before the fun:

First cut to remove the majority of the aluminum. Done with a hacksaw:

First dry assemble. 4 hours of filing since last picture. Cutting angles into the aluminum by hand took awhile with a file and hacksaw:

Fully assemabled and functional:

Lots of drilling and tapping involved on this one.

Took me a few hours to figure out some serious leak issues, but I got the majority of them out now. I put the valve in backwards doh! Had board issues (battery) and recock issues (lube), both pretty minor.

Fired it in the backyard. Broke a ball, but beyond that, it shot awsome. So far the project is coming along nicely. Quite fast too, by at least my standards. Going to use it tomorrow while I'm waiting on parts.

Lots of work still left:

- Little more filing on the main body
- Find and wait on parts
- Possiablly have to make some eye holes/covers
- Fix the last little leak
- Make a prettier velocity adapter
- New bolt pin for quick stripping
- Anno colors and annodizer (probally Hvacman)

Looking for all Canadians on MCB, building a list by province. PM me to be added to the list.

If the edges are relieved so they form a ramp like shape then no. However there WILL be a small amount of drag from them.

What this needs is a nice fitting non Oring bolt with the back section cut down to match the cutaway to some degree.
