Nasty Spyder project..still in progress lol

things left to do, get metric grip screws from either local store or proshop or forum lol.

install Gunhead M4 stock on friday when it arrives in mail

get local machine shop to do a revised crosspin/sled unit for bolt system so that it doesnt jam anymore

get body drilled for detents

gloss black annodizing

800-1200PSI reg onto it eventually....if i can find one.

this is the result of 2 years of parts scrounging and swapping and 80 hours of milling work back in the schoolyear of 2006-2007, at Rochester Inst of Tech, i dont know if i have the original photos of it with the light blue parts, but ive since sold pretty much everything cept the body and these parts which arrived today.....among other parts that ive been hanging onto for this project.

it is currently a bolt action, since the vertical crosspin keeps rotating and jamming the bolts

and yes that is a 15 degree angled vert air unit

What a beast! And I mean that in the best way possible!

Between you and KP Customs and Palmers, every kind of valve train will have a nasty conversion soon.

Thats awesome.

SO its a single hammer? That makes the trigger setup easier, but will you still be able to recock?

I would wonder if the 2 valves would take away to much pressure from the recock jets? Or if it required such a heavy spring to also make recocking quirky?

Pretty cool

single hammer, single valve, it was able to recock when i didnt have a crosspin in it. so that tells me its the crosspin system on the bolt that is giving me problems but i may have a simple solution to keeping the crosspins from rotating from spring pressure.

Nah, a rocking trigger would ruin it for me.
I can't wait to see it when it's done.
