| my question on this since you have a CP trigger. can you still walk it or is it now too stiff to do so?

| The clippard 3way is a bit to stiff to get a good walk. I'm debating ways to lighten the trigger to allow walkage. I really wish the fabco 3-way would have worked, since the switch is soooo much lighter... but alas, there is no way to turn the Normally Closed Fabco into a Normally Open without basically building a from scratch 3-way. |

| Active Member | I have been really wanting to try something like this. One question; did you need to use new/different banjo fittings? It seems like you only actually needed to buy three parts, the T fitting, QEV, and the 3 way. Is it that simple?

| MCB Member | basically that simple. you can get away with just buying the tree way . If you have a lathe and turn the top part of the original noid down so the part that fits into the niod becomes the third barb. You also need a dual O-ring bolt, again if you have a lathe you can mod the original. The QUV isn't requiredbut makes it a lot smoother IMHO. Duck out

Purchase list: 3-way T-fitting (the T44-2 from clippard has the perfect size barbs in the right placement) Bolt with two orings on the tail Optional - QEV Extra hose Something to use as a mount (I think Xluben just drilled and tapped the frame for set screws to hold the 3way) Very easy mod. | |

| Shoots very easy. Not easy to short stroke, but if you want to you can do it. the trigger pull is so tiny you have to pull it really slow to short stroke it. I'm still thinking of what I can do to lighten up the pull so that it's truly walkable. Anyone know if I can open up the clippard 3-way? I was going to pull it apart tonight to see about lightening the return spring in it... but my sterlings feedneck fell out last night playing at the airport, so I need to work on that instead I figure, based on the way the clippard works, I can have a crazy light return spring in it, since the air pressure will work to keep it open when gassed up. I think the reason it has a heavier spring in there is because the spring needs to work against the air pressure when used as a Normally Closed system. Since I'm using it as a Normally Open, the air pressure would work in my favor, thus allowing me to lighten the spring. Legion, if you are ever down in Utah Valley, let me know. I can meet you somewhere so you can check it out if you'd like. |

| Active Member | I may be wrong, but I have heard that you can completely take out the return spring on the Clippards and they will still function on pure air pressure (In open configuration). And wow, that branch T is so hard to find... I can only find them on Clippard's website in packs of 5 and 15$ shipping. No distributors nearby either.
