| Help: Gears of War Lasering Project Hey, got an old autococker here that could use a facelift, or two. Got a couple gears of war pics that need to be turned to 100% black and white (not grayscale) for the lasering process. Right now it looks like I'll be shippin them off to fbm. They got a good deal on ebay right now. 2 - 2x4in pics for 50 bucks! I tried turning them to black and white on my own but, they didn't turn out too good. Just wondering if anyone's got some sick photoshop skills here. Each pic will be engraved on each side of the gun. Thanks! |

You might also want to remember that 2x4 is a different ratio than the images you're starting with. Do you want them to fill a 2x4 box, or keep the correct ratio and scale the dimensions inside 2x4? I've attached some grayscale images below. They're cropped and scaled to fit 2x4. Last edited by jwigum; 06-20-2008 at 09:35 PM. | |

| Here's something that might work. The image is big so 56k beware. I took the picture, erased some unnecessary crap in photoshop, bumped up the contrast then put it through Illustrator's live trace and tweaked it until it was recognizable. The second one was tougher, since I had to run the faces through at different contrast levels with their own trace settings to get them to come through.
