| XTS in wood stock Hello, I'm starting a new project just as the title says it's a Sheridan XTS in a wood rifle stock. tp be exact it is a "stevens 77" stock, just in case that means something to anyone. My biggest question after having read the various threads about phantoms and mags, even spyders placed in a wood stock is this: How do you secure the marker in the stock? I would assume the gripframe screws but with the xts this will only give me on contact point near the back. Any ideas? (I apologize for any breech of etiquette or spelling errors.)

| Well I’m far from an expert on paintball guns but I can give you some advice on putting stuff in wood. You best bet, for simplicity’s sake, would be some kind of barrel band, a band of metal the raps around the stock and over the barrel. If that’s not an option then it may be possible to silver solder a tennon on it in a spot that’s convenient and use a wedge pin to hold the gun to the stock. But I’m not sure if either one of those is possible with a XTS. |

| nelson fanboy | I used to own 1 XTS, a couple of JTXs, with their gripframe system, what you could do is to have someone machine you a block that would attach the same point to the body, (front hinge screw system) and to the back's, perhaps have someone make a sliding trigger that's further to the rear, for a correct look? Or you could contact Britt (Flatline's Up!) who did a similar mod using a prolite/procarbine inletted into a target stock, the XTS/JTX are basically spyder barreled pro-lite clones IMO ADDENUM; doesn't your XTS have a vert foregrip? If so, then that's where you can mount the body to the stock by removing the foregrip, but using the threaded hole that held the foregrip on, should be a simple matter of cutting the trigger frame and then using the foregrip screw to hold the body to the stock

| Thanks for all the help guys but unfortunately after failing to win the auction on ebay I've slightly modified my design. I'll be using an old Bruizer, stack tube from iisports. again thanks for all the help. Any more advise on connecting the stock to the marker is very appreciated.
