| MCB Member | Grip frame angles? I am looking for a suitable "homework" project for my new job. The boss thinks the best way to learn how to really handle a CNC machine is to do your own stuff every now and then. That's the right way to look at it, I say! So... I want to make something really unnecessary. I was thinking to make a totally missmatched grip frame for my phantom. Like a z-grip look-a-like. My question to you is, what angle is a Z-grip tilted forward. I've heard that there is another less angeled frame called Y-grip. Does anyone know the angles of those grips? Cheers /GP |

| IIRC, the Y-grip was 15 degrees forward, and the Z-grip was something like 25 or 30. Don't quote me on that, though.
