Tippmann 98 Platinum Picatinny Rail Question ...

Not having a 98 Platinum, I'm wondering if someone that does could tell me how hard it would be to mod the top Picatinny rail to fit a 98 custom. if anyone's got pics or measurements, i'd be thrilled!

I know the easiest way would be to buy new receiver halves from tippmann parts, but for the price they're asking, i could almost buy Platinum anyway. From the pics of the rail on tippmannparts, it seems like it might not be too bad, but i'd like to know what y'all think.

thanks!

You could just buy standard picatinny mounting rails, mill the top of the 98 flat, and drill and tap for screws. The rails should then bolt right on.

EDIT -

Went on tippmannparts.com, looked at some diagrams, and answered my own question. DOH!

Feel free to delete.
