automag pump

I have a automag, And my brother plans to start a pump team. However, i do not have any autocockers because i sold my last one to my brothers friend so he could join the pump team. (he's getting a pump conversion kit) Now i have a few choices,
1. buy a phantom or other pump of some sort.- minimum of $200 or so? For a decent phantom? ( I honestly do not know, not into phantoms, but never too late to start!)

2. buy a autococker, and then get a pump kit- minimum of about $170, (for decent autococker)

3. buy a automag pump conversion kit- minimum of...$_____

i want everybody to offer their automag pump conversion kits, i am looking for the CHEAPEST. RIght now i do not have all the money for it exactly, so, i have things to trade. if you have one, offer it to me, and tell me what you will accept as a trade. I will see what i can do. This did also seem like the most efficiant thing to do. However, if any of you have a cheap phantom or pump autococker, i suppose offer it.

I'll ride your shirt tails on this one... toss me second best! Prefer the hitman mod.

Also: Look into Rainman's kits... I want to buy one, however, the funds have been slim. Then... I got the $$ together and bought my daughter a Phantom instead.

Your cheapest alternative is buy Rainmans. Its a nicer looking kit than the original AGD ones IMO and are just as cheap.

The $$ question ends up being @ $200

RM GenII AGD pump kit @ 150
Rail and frame milling @ 40
Shipping & insurance @ 10

But that said what you get in the end is a SICK pump !!

Shouldn't this be in the wtb? But anyway, I also vote rainmans because in the end you will be the only one around with a sick pump mag

I like the way it looks, but i got a question, with a retro valve, will it still work? i mean, you cant make a retro valve go semi auto, right? And do the pump kits come in silver? Because i am planning on making this into one.

Same thing with a x-valve, if i have one of those on and put on a pump, will it still work like a normal pump?

You'll want a classic if you're planning on using 12grams or c02. Xvalves need a lot of work to get to function properly with anything other than Compressed Air. you need a specific bumper to keep the valve from going semi auto, if I remember correctly.

You should really check out some of these threads on AO. They'll provide lots of feedback to help you out, and you could always ask some of the members who own pump mags for details.

Using any other mag other than a CLASSIC is a waist of a good semi !!

Valve recharge rate, Trick anti-chop bolts, Fancy feeds are JUST NOT REQUIRED with a pump converted mag.

Best and lightest set up IMO would be basically this:

Classic A.I.R. valve
Level 7 foamee bolt
ULE body for weight savings ... or Standard RH/LH SS NON POWER FEED body
Dye, 32*, Benchmark .45 single finger grip frame ... or stock single finger
NICE grips on frame of choice
Pending on ASA style ? Gas threw grip or EXP chamber ect ....
** Barrels will differ between body used.
