Saved another few dollars,just cut out a strip slot. I'll post pics tomorrow.

Well the dremal tool hasn't seen much action over the last yr. It was such a simple job too. Not sure about the plating.
I'm thinking about selling this and a few others when they are done.
ALTEC,yours has a strip slot too.

I know, I wish it didn't. Kills the bolt action options, unless I do it in ways I don't wanna.

Strip slot is cut. The reflection ruins it,but it is very straight. I was going to mill it, but my dremal hasn't seen much action. So Armed with a cut off wheel I proceded lol. Cam out very nice. I'm real happy with this. Over all my savings so far has been about $70.00 doing things myself.

Barrel and lower reciever have been cleaned. I have primed the ASA,pump Handel and bolt for painting. Bolt is also polished. C6quad traded me for a lower reciever plug. I'm almost to stock issue.
