Design advice

Hello everyone. I am a new poster here and had recently decided to design a unique marker for myself with the p90 and b5 as inspiration. My current basic outline is still a bit unsightly, and i was hoping that some of you could offer me some advice on the design.

well it looks like you've got the basic design down pretty well. However now comes the tough part. The internals. Are you basing you design off of an already existing marker, or are you making a completely new design? My advice would be to take a very simple yet effective marker (such as the tippmann 98) and transfer the guts into your new body. As for the trigger it would most likely have to be electronic with the micro-switch up near the trigger and then wires running back to the solenoid. There have been a few people out there who have put their marker into and airsoft P90 with good results. just some food for thought there...

well i was helping out on this design i was planning on using a pnuemag type trigger setup with a mag as the embedded gun the hardest part we have run into is the mounting of the internal co2 tank

alittle tinkering but i think i could make it work

I have run into a similar problem with the markers size. imbeding in air tank will depend greatly on how small of an air tank i can find.

I have an A5 that i could transfer some guts from. most of the design is intended to be cosmetic anyhow. As for the trigger and grip, i would like to go mechanical to avoid problems with water, and having to deal with batteries.

If anyone wants to improve on the cosmetics of it so far, please do. I would be interested in seeing the results.

13ci/3.5 oz tanks are pretty tiny, but still almost 2" in diameter. The RAP CO2 tanks are about half the diameter, but apparently not super reliable and places may give you crap about filling them. You could also always just stuck a 12gram changer in there, or use the 88gm SpareAirs...

i take it you don't want to run remote?

would be pretty easy just to mount a QD fitting on the back end of your stock, by where it tucks into your shoulder ... just a thought.

ya i want to avoid anything that reminds me that i am holding a marker.

maby i could put a 12 gram in the clip so the air and ammo reload together.

how many shots can i get off a 12gm? clip might hold 20 -30 shots

Edit
oh, i would love to see what you have in mind with that photoshop.

double edit

Here is an updated img. also included is an image of a p90. I'm thinking of having the sight riser/ carry handle, straddle the clip like in a p90

its looking good but the only thing i can see is that the riser is to long it would bump into your mask make it maybe half that length
