| Post Whore Join Date: Oct 2006 | OH LORDY! I wasn't thinking of getting THAT much! Yeah, the extruding die is likely in the thousands and I'm sure the company would have a minimum amount of the run. Yeah, it would be thousands of $ by the time that was done. All I wanted was 4 or 5 one foot sections so I could start with the crazy hogging out already done. For my own custom projects I've got in mind. I just liked the PMI extrusion since it's lighter thanks to the figure 8 pattern

| Post Whore Join Date: May 2006 Location: Valrico, Florida | See if you can call PMI and get a chunk. I'm sure they've probably got some from the end of a length they could sell you. Otherwise, there's still Merlin extrusion on ASP. A bit more cutting, but the bores are already there. |

Yes, heavy, but that means there's plenty of meat to add cosmetic stuff, threads, even cut grooves to hide components. Plus, I like the fact that both tubes are the same. More convenient than a raw 'cocker body, IMO. Oh, and ASP sells it in 5-foot lengths, last I checked. Whee! |
