And these are the afters: 2.5ish hours later + 4 beers = .....not much but she is my first pgp and it gets 35 shots of a 12g with a 6in grouping at 70ft. Couldn't ask for more.

macnad, that really nice solder work. Where did you learn to do that?
Hey, want to try a really neat trick? Drill and thread a hole in the front of the bolt... But in this exact order. First drill hole to thread for a screw... Then concave the front of the bolt so that you create a nice pocket enough for a ball to rest on... Then add a Allen screw. Once done, the screw should stick out more than the width of a dime.
This allows for the chambered ball to sit slightly ahead of the exhaust port, allowing for more expansion of co2, and lest turbulence before the ball begins traveling down the tube.
I've done this a couple of times with my PGPs. The mod achieves pretty much the same benefit as a center firing bolt.

Top one is my summer project. I still need to drill and tap for a front sight, and velocity adjuster, stock is about to be refinished in the near future and I need the magazine plug screw.

I hate front sights. I've actually knocked or ground the bead sights off of all my KPs.

Bastid! You should of un soldered them and unscrewed them! Palmers charges 15 for them...So I gotta find one or buy the die to make them.

Have you ever owned a KP with the bead? It's honestly pretty useless! I much prefer having a perfectly smooth barrel all around. Then again, I avoid barrels with muzzle brakes like the new J&Js, CPs and LAPCOs.

Yea...I love the Bead/Stud front sight on my kp2. I use it whenever I look down my barrel, especially if I have to long ball someone I use it as an indicator for the center of the barrel.
