For the PGP did you just drill and tap into the CO2 chamber? or did you drill and solder?

and also, major props for making it , i'm trying to at the moment but trying to find a cleaner way if possible (more tidy)

thanks, Dom

Thanks for the props.
It was fun to build. I do miss her.
Let me see what I remember. Its been a while.

This was a converstion from the older PGP1 (pre 2K) so the valve assembly in the older Sheridans is in multiple pieces (i.e. non cartridge).

Short answer: Drill and tap.

Long answer:
The sequence of Lower tube internals is as follows: Rhino LPR –Tee – pipe – (CP)valve

First I ground down the face of the Steel "Chamber plug" (CP) on the valve. The PGP diagrams gives it this name. It’s a shiny piece of steel that retains the 12gm seal for the Co2. Remove the seal and then grind it down to about the shoulder.

Chucked it into a bench vice and drilled/tapped it for 1/8 NPT. A short 1/8" NPT pipe is threaded into this piece and sealed with JB weld. On the rear of Chamber plug I ground a slot so that a Slotted screwdriver can be used to turn/tighten it to the joining Tee assembly (from behind the body).

The Rhino LPR is threaded directly into the Tee with more JB weld. Hence there is only 1 tie-in section using Teflon tape i.e. the LPR/Tee To the chamber plug assembly. This reduces a point of potential leakage.

Have fun.
LOve to see your project.

thanks, i intend to make it 4 tubes in a cross,
-O ------The barrel
OO ------The left side is the pneumatics in a brass tube, right side is a feedtube
-O ------ The valve

It looks oddly spaced out drawing it like that but it really wont be

trust me badger i would like to see my project aswell i currently have a PGP2k1 body that i just mess with, will be using the biggest tube for the pneumatics, i need to de-coat and un solder it. i'm currently trying to get hold of a pre-de-coated PGP1 off of the rare guns forum whcih i will use for everything else. (i will also use the PGP 2k bolt and RVA)

then i need to find someone in the UK who has autococker parts... next to none i will tell you now

then i can start .... i haven't got barely anything yet, but i cannot stop thinking of ways to change/improve things.

Is JB weld really that good? i'm using it currently to weld an allen key into a screw thats head has lost its threading.

thanks, Dom

That gives the "brass clover" a whole new meaning... You're going to hold the trigger down, tilt gun to the right to reload. Release the bolt before you fire. That's a lot of body laguage for a semi, don't you think? Cool though

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Oh no, it is going to be spring fed but i cant decide which way round to put hte three way /ram i would like for the bolt to be back when the trigger is released but i would need soemthing to stop the balls all flooding the barrel like a wedgit alternatively i could do it the normal way, but i wanted to put a kframe on this then a magnum hammer, so with no pressure on the trigger the hammer is back, then like on a magnum as you pull it the hammer is released
