| yes, enlarging the transfer port allows the use of more fragile paint, i've found that with really fragile 'tourny-grade' paint, PGP's and Nelsons had a tendency to break it really easily.

| its a common pps upgrade...it seems to have helped bring efficiency up on this marker by 5 good shots or so, hoping to hear back from optical2 once he has a chance to field test it

| for this i ended up using an 06 EGO and mounted it into a BOYDS Ruger 10-22 rifle stock. the stock is hand laminated and machined to fit a Ruger 10-22 rifle. i had to 'slightly' modify it as well as the EGO in order to get them to fit together nicely. there was some 'slight' milling of the EGO frame, but nothing that would adversly affect its performance. i had a few issues with it (needed a new noid and QEV's) but its finally in good working order so i can test it out and set it up. the EGO bolts into the stock securely with 2 metal brackets: the first one utilizes the front grip screw of the EGO and the rear one uses the bottom asa holes on the EGOs's gripframe. i had the brackets powdercoated for durability. i also cut a custom set of clear lexan panels for the grips as i needed to shave as much width off the gripframe as possible. the barrel i chose is a 22" STIFFI 'SNIPER' barrel. it is ready to use with a 13/3000 air tank that was fitted into the bottom of the stock. this small tank keeps the overall weight of the rifle down, but limits the amount of ammo it can actually shoot. (between 150-200 shots) it started out like this: ![]() and ended up like this: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() EDIT: i tried like mad to get the EGO as 'air efficient' as possible, but it was all in vain. the 13/3000 is just too small for this beast. i ended up putting a micro drop on it and using either a 45/4500 or 68/3000 fiber tank. together with a Ricochet hopper it looks out of this world! i will try to take some pics as it now is with a hopper, tank & ready to rock. |

| Nice work. Big fan of pirate guns. Is it awating a pump handle? I'd like to see one made with a mock hammer to cock it with. Nothing to fancy.
