Automag Rifle

I got a PM asking for pics of a rifle I made a while ago. I don't know if they are still on the internet so I decided to post them for others to look at.

I sold the gun a while ago and so can not take better/more pictures; my apologies to those who are offended by blurry pictures.

Are the sides of the rail milled down?

They were filed by hand but yes. The rail is now wedge shaped, this allows it to sit snugly in the stock so only one screw is necessary to hold the frame in the wood.

Doubt it. I 'think' it's an ANS valve, but I'm not sure. I do know that I've seen them before.

I think what impresses me the the most is the integrated CO2 tank.

That's just beautiful!

I did not mill the valve, it came like that when I bought the 'Mag. It is an aftermarket valve with an 8 hole mod.

The tank looks impressive but it isn't quite as clean looking in real life. I want to do this again with proper tooling as I know I can do a far better job. CO2 in an Automag really is a bad idea, the gun would chill real quick if I was too heavy on the trigger.

The stock is from a remington 514. The gun is about as common as a sheridan F series, I just got lucky and found a stock that had the features I needed (no mag well, long front end, & short butt) for a price I could pay.

What happened to the burst disc on the tank?
