| Formerly lancecst | G3 TechT bolt and bolt engine question
What is the difference between the 2 of them and is the performance the same or different. I know the engine comes with a new no tool back cap but does that effect performance or is it all the bolt.

the bolt is a replacement bolt to work with the orriginal or tool-less back cap. the bolt engine is an entire replacement system, seperate from the tool-less back cap, operating very differently. the bolt system gives you the least amount of moving mass, and allows you to lower your dwell even more than jsut using the l7 bolt. on the outside with the system installed, it looks like you have just a tool-less back cap but if you look at the two links I put up to compulsive, you will see the difference between a tool-less back cap and the bolt system air can as I like to call it. BOLT: TechT L7 G3 Bolt and Dangerous Power Bolts - Compulsive Paintball, Inc. TOOL-LESS BACK CAP: TechT G3 Tool-less Back Cap - Black and Dangerous Power Bolts - Compulsive Paintball, Inc. BOLT SYSTEM: TechT L7 G3 Bolt Engine and Dangerous Power Bolts - Compulsive Paintball, Inc. EDIT: just make sure you get the right one. unfortunately the first time I ordered mine, they sent me a bolt system for the spec-r/g4, instead of the one for the standard g3. the extra o-ring at the tip of the bolt is for the standard g3, where the spec-r and g4 operate slightly differently not needing the front o-ring. other than that, they look identical.
