Ok, I'll play...Congrats on the new marker! I have an Upgraded G3 on the way that I traded for on AO. Hopefully I'll get a chance to run it this weekend. Now, to scratch together the funds for a Threshy, that milling kills...

I picked up a G4 - my first electro (other than an E-Mag) after 20 years of playing (on and off). I really, really like it.

Ha ha, I've always been fairly anti electro, myself. I did own an e-gripped A5 for awhile, but didn't like the habits I was developing. Now that I have a nice Phantom, and a Tac One, I figure why not add the G3 for times when I want a little more firepower. And, if I start to get too carried away with it, I can always drop back to the Phantom to curtail any bad habits, lol. Never hurts to have options.

I hear you, I started off with brass eagles back in the mid 90s. the more I played I bought a sypder compact, then pro. Stopped playing when I got married in 02 Got back in 1 year ago with a Tippmanm 98cp. Boy is this thing WORLDS different than what ive ever shot lol. This is my first foray into the open bolt world of paintball.

Same here! Brass eagle talon pump was my first gun! then I had a PMI Piranha for years before upgrading to an autococker. Then college happened and marrage. Finally got back into it and bought a Spyder Electra a year ago and just upgraded to a Fusion FX...WOW....

What a huge difference.. I am very happy with my FX, just played the NEPL event #2 and didn't have one ball break, velocity snafu or electric malfunction. Loving it!

SWEET! Yea I had my first real game this past weekend and the marker performed flawlessly. Shooting 1 year old formula 13 and dimpled stingers I still got great range and tight grouping, all with no breaks!

Does anyone know if they make quick grips for this thing? I would like to be able to change my dip switch settings without breaking out the allen...

I cringe at the mention of dimpled stingers haha

My first gun was a 98cp and then I also moved up to using an 07 fusion. I loved the heck out of it, sending your first few ropes of paint through the air is a sickkk feeling. (sick being good for the old balls out there)

Check out an eigenram, its super light and keeps the gun from kicking very much at all

Lurker Paintball

if you do the eigenram for the fusion get the package deal at the bottom and get the golden poppet with it, the stock poppet has been known to break occasionaly.

I really liked my F8 when I had it but it just didn't compare to my viking, and now I own no electros
