Not sure.. Just picked up an early G3 myself...

Will look around as I'm researching what I just snagged.

I think the IQ was just a milling change. Post some pics!

Does it have the slots on the trigger guard? The G3 went through a couple changes as DP tried to improve the quality of the gun. DP tried to add milling and other improvments to the gun, I think the earlier models had slots milled into the trigger guard and as they went eventually the slots went away (not sure about that though). The Spec-R was the last attempt and was really just a G4. I have the G3 Spec-R, got it used with the Tech-T engine installed, so far it has been great. If you get them cheap and through some ups into it you will have a really nice cheap electro

The SE had a slightly better trigger (less side to side play) and an upgraded board with more firing options.

Also, the later models of all G3's (should include the IQ) should have the upgraded red piston in the HP reg. Also, the later models came with a clamping feedneck whereas the very early ones did not.

I guess you didn't check back on you other thread. That link is what I referenced from to help you out on the differences. Regardless, I hope to hear from you as to how it performs for you.

Got to take the G3 out yesterday. Shot a half case of paint (way to fast...). I really like the way it handled. Looking forward to getting more play time in with it.

I felt the same way when I went out with my F8 for the first time. I might go through a hopper a game with most of my mech's, it was way too easy to go through a hopper and a couple pods of paint per each game. What are you using for a hopper on yours?
