looks like a cross between an ion, a marq, an nxt shocker.. and a mini..

It looks really small, and ya.. the milling is a "bit" to much.. But, I now like Dp..

It's a blowforward, like an Ion, using a bolt like a hollowpoint or Pikadoll (or three-way Quest if you want to think).

Ydna, you must realize one thing, dear Sir... Most of us are not up to your level of understanding when speaking in SP, or weaponry terms for that matter. So can you please rephrase you comment in a more laymen term?

The bolt is held open by the solenoid, then when it fires teh air is vented and the bolt gets pushed forward, unseats itself from the o-ring on the back "plug" piece, and air is released to fire the ball.

At least that's what it looks like.

Also from what it looks like, it might ironically be pretty simlar in design to an Ion. I mean the use of hoses and such, since I would bet that's how it's laid out. It's just so much easier and cheaper to do that, so it's what folks do nowadadys...bah
