| The bolt is held open by the solenoid, then when it fires teh air is vented and the bolt gets pushed forward, unseats itself from the o-ring on the back "plug" piece, and air is released to fire the ball. At least that's what it looks like. Also from what it looks like, it might ironically be pretty simlar in design to an Ion. I mean the use of hoses and such, since I would bet that's how it's laid out. It's just so much easier and cheaper to do that, so it's what folks do nowadadys...bah |
