Fusion FX Aftermarket Reg?

Hey guys, recently changed my mind on selling my FX so I plan on upping it fully, gonna get the LAW ram and techt bolt. I have a question will the Dye Hyper3 regulator fit onto my FX?

As long as the reg uses the standard size threading, then you are good to go but for some reason I thought I read somewhere that the Hyper 3 reg threads are smaller than standard size.

Just curious, what is wrong with your stock reg on the FX?

DYE makes 2 versions of their regulators, one with standard ASA threads, and one with DYE threads, the DYE threads are what Phoenix is referring to, they are smaller and will not work on non-DYE guns. DYE also makes their regs in standard thread though, that way die-hard DYE fans can put DYE regs onto other guns.

The reg you have linked is the DYE thread style, and will not work on most guns. I would recommend a Custom Products reg for a DP FX.

Okay thanks for both of the answers guys, I appreciate it.
@Phoenix, I have read of multiple reviews that a new reg would help with consistency, do you know if this has any merit or not?

I wish I could give you a solid yes or no but I honestly do not know. If the stock reg on the FX is as good the one on my F8, which it should be, then I think you will be fine. I do know the techt bolt seems to be a favorable upgrade. Like mentioned before, the only reg I would jump to is one from Cp or Aka.
