Is the 08 Fusion worth the extra money

Looking for something different to mess with and the price of the 07's are appealing. Are the 08's worth double the price of the 07's? Not concerned much about the milling of the body, it is the performance/reliability I am concerned about.

For my money, I'm really really happy with the 07. I'd say for the price savings right now, I'd go for the '07.

Though I can't speak from experience as I do not own an 08

I was wondering the same as well. From what Chaos was saying at Fall Castle they are basically the same gun except the 08 will have just one reg adjustment where the 07 has the 2.

And I still think all electros should come with a mechanical safety

and so do most of my teammates.........

Agreed.

With electros, unfortunately, the only mechanical safety = barrel bag.

or the power switch, not like you wait for NT to boot before they are ready.

Actually.... that's an electronic safety... not a mechanical safety.

a trigger blocking safety would be nice, but tough with how short the trigger pulls are and the factors that only 25grams of force would be required to jar the microswitch itself, trigger blocked or not. The microswitch itself would require a trapping device, also difficult to ensure you are trapping the actuator instead of signaling a shot

A switch or gate has a mechanical part, the actuator, a non-mechanical switch in it's simplest form is a transistor. A toggle or slide switch is not an 'electronic' gate.

Personally..I think for the money either is a good deal..I prefer the 08' simply because it's lighter and the few little quirks the 07's had have been redone on the 08's and they also come with both styles of on/off asa.I also find the trigger pull to be alot smoother on the 08' because the setup is just a touch different.

The 08 is worth the extra money. It has only the 1 reg to adjust, much lighter than the 07 and has noticeably less kick.
