Just good feedback on 07 Fusion purchase

Just received mine yesterday. Heck of a deal for MCB members from genie paintball (don't forget coupon).
First impressions are this is as advertised. It is light (except the grips, holy hell they must have lead cores). Balance is a joke with a smaller hopper, 45/4500 and carbon fiber barrel. Everything about it is quick strip, even the internals. For an electro that is impressive. The design is not innovative but the paths taken for execution are. You can remove the frame without removing the frame screws all the way. It is small things that show a lot of forethought and learning from other companies flops.

For the money, especially, I am more then impressed. Can't wait to put paint down range.

I feel guilty. I just got a friend back into paintball. he is of the oldschool variety. Just knowing him, he very well may get one once he sees mine.

Thanks for the tech offers. Let me see if I even want to use it this weekend. We have a local scenario and it is going to be real cold. I usually have bad luck with anything electro in cold weather. Since the games tend to slow down with weather I bring my tactical blazer. I know people have used their Fusions in cold weather without problems, I just have not had good luck and would hate to judge this marker unfairly.

Hehe...let's take it to a field and see how it performs. If you're really impressed after using it, I'll keep my eye out for getting one too.

Well after taking a look at Slowcodes a couple of weeks ago I was impressed. It did have some really nice features that the lazy man likes so I was really looking at getting one for a backup. Like he said when it's cold my electros don't fair too well. And just by coincidence Chaos was parting with an F8 so I was in luck. By the way this was my second purchase from Chaos and he's a stand up guy. One thing I did notice on the F8 is this thing kicks like a Jackie Chan audition. I actually have the barrel climbing on me. I'm sending off for an Eigenram to lighten the kick.

REALLY!!!! Mine doesnt seem to have that all much kick. Bring it to Ocean Tiger and we will compare notes. Side note: Want to go halves on a big repair kit?

The kick could be that I'm just spoiled playing with my E-Blazer and DC Viking. Count me in on the repair kit.

The solenoid from the 07 kit will not work in the F8 unless you install an LPR....you need an F8 kit for the correct solenoid. The F8 lacks an LPR which might be the cause of the extra kick...a lighter ram will correct that
